Church rally to reach district on November 12

The Marthoman Paithruka Sandesha Yatra organised by the Malankara Orthodox Church as part of its 1960th anniversary and the centenary of the Catholicate will be accorded receptions at various places of Kochi, Thrissur, Angamaly, Kandanad West and East diocese.
The places under the diocese are spread across Ernakulam, Thrissur and Kottayam districts.
The rally will reach Thrissur after covering the Sulthan Bathery, Malabar and Kunnamkulam dioceses. The rally will be accorded a reception at Chuvannamannu in Thrissur district. The faithful will receive the rally with lighted candles at St Thomas Church, Chembukavu. The reception will be followed by a felicitation meeting in which Thrissur Mayor I P Paul, Cooperation Minister C N Balakrishnan and the metropolitans will take part.
The rally will then proceed to Zion Seminary, Koratty, the headquarters of the Kochi diocese. A meeting will be held at Koratty and from there the rally will proceed to Angamaly. Receptions have been arranged at various places under the Angamaly diocese. The rally will reach Ernakulam on November 12. People from various parishes in Ernakulam will gather at Thrikkunnathu seminary to receive the rally.
From there the rally will proceed to Ambadimukku where a reception would be held at the football ground there. Fr Elias Chrukad and priest trustee Fr Johns Abraham Konat will speak at the meeting. The rally will then proceed to Marthoma Nagar at Mulanthuruthy.
