A-320 type rating training course kick-starts at CTE

The Central Training Establishment (CTE), an airline institute commenced its Airbus A-320 Type Rating Training Course for external candidates from July 2 at the CTE Campus in the city. The first batch consists of a group of 25 pilots that include 11 women pilots. The duration of the course is approximately between 22 weeks and 36 weeks for the entire batch.
Capt. R S Dhillon, general manager (Ops-Trg) incharge-training, CTE inaugurated the course, alongside Capt. Mandeep Singh - Dy. GM (Ops-Trg), Ashirwatham - Dy.G.M.(OTT), VNS Murthy - Sr. manager (OPT), Prasad (O) Sr. manager (Planning), among other officials and the 25 pilot candidates. CTE is India’s first airline institute to obtain an approval by Directorate General of Civil Aviation as Type Rating Training Organisation.
