Heat wave abates, rain in next 48 hours

The intensity of heat wave in the state came down in all regions in the state on Wednesday under the impact of the South-west monsoon that has advanced into some parts of the state . The met officials have predicted that there would be rains in the next 48 hours.
Weather conditions remained favourable in all the three regions in the state on Wednesday. Rayalaseema region received moderate rain while there were showers in coastal Andhra. the weather remained pleasant in the Telangana region.
According to Met department officials, rain occurred at a few places in coastal Andhra region. On Wednesday, the temperature was above the normal at one or two places in north coastal Andhra and north Telangana while many places in Rayalaseema recorded the maximum temperature well above normal. Adilabad recorded a maximum temperature of 43 degrees Celsius . Revealing the weather forecast details for the next two days, Met officials said the sky condition would be generally cloudy. Rains and thundershowers would occur in parts of Hyderabad. During next 48 hours, the maximum and minimum temperature would be around 36 and 25 degree Celsius respectively in other cities in the state. The state would receive a rainfall between 1 and 2 cm in the next two days, they said.
