The value of Bell Helicopter, which was seized by the CBI in the Obulapuram Mining Company (OMC) alleged illegal iron ore mining case, was put at Rs 3.10 crore by the OMC.
The company gave its report to the special court for CBI cases on Thursday, which is hearing the petition seeking handing over of the chopper and other costly vehicles seized by the CBI in the case.
The court asked the CBI to file its report over the evaluation report submitted and posted the matter to Tuesday for further hearing.
Though the evaluation reports of the cars were given by the authorities concerned, agencies like DGCA and Bell Helicopter India expressed their inability to give the report of the chopper. With the court asking OMC itself to give the value, the company submitted the report stating the chopper’s value.
