College celebrates freshers’ day

Sakthi Mariamman Engineering College at Thandalam celebrated its 12th batch inaugural function, freshers’ day, in a grand manner recently.
Addressing the students, the chief guest R Thiagarajan DGM Regional office, Central Bank of India, said: “Freshers’ day is a major point of transition which will mark your transition officially to adulthood. It is a day when a bell rings in your minds to announce that you are no more a school kid, but a fully-qualified adult, who has to move out into the larger arena of the challenging world of career.”
