Season two of the ‘Big Little RJ Hunt’, an initiative by 92.7 BIG FM, saw three youngsters from Chennai being crowned as the ‘BIG Little RJs’ after exciting final round here on Saturday.
The radio channel’s hunt for the best three little RJs was flagged off earlier by the BIG FM radio jockeys on November 14. The search travelled across select schools in Chennai where the children were auditioned on various parameters to suit the role of an RJ. 20 potential kids were selected for the semi finals out of which the best five were selected for the final round. The five finalists were judged by BIG FM RJs and a line-up of celebrities from various movies including director Karthik Subbaraj, producer CV Kumar, actor Vijay Sethupathy and music director Santhosh Narayanan of the movie Pizza. As the grand prize of this contest, the winning trio will get an opportunity to host radio shows with experienced radio jockeys on air.
The cast and crew from Pizza also launched the Original Sound Track (OST) from the movie while flagging off a special celebratory van that would go around the city collecting wishes from Rajinikanth fans for his upcoming birthday.
