13th Rotary awards today

The Rotary Club of Madras East, RA Puram, will be organising their 13th Rotary Awards at Sir PT Thyagarayar Hall on Wednesday at 6.30 pm.

The function will honour three experts - BH Abdul Hameed, an exemplary in Tamil pronunciation, will be conferred with vocational excellence award, Subbu Arumugam, villupattu exponent will be given the lifetime achievement award, and Valarmathy, project director, Risat Satellite Programme, will be given for the sake of honour award, for their outstanding contribution.

The recipients were chosen based on the information presented to the board of directors by the media and  public.
