Probe report against BSP chief sought

The High Court on Tuesday directed the State Government to file objections and produce the investigation report on cases against State BSP Chief Marasandra Muniyappa.
In a public interest petition, Veeranna and three others contended that the police have failed to act against Muniyappa though over 28 criminal cases have been registered against him at five police stations in the city.They sought the court to direct the Home Department to constitute a special team to handle these cases.
