Indian rupee declined on Monday against US dollar. Rupee went
down by 35 paise or 0.57% against US dollar to settle at 61.79. It
touched a high of 61.52 and low of 62 after opening at 61.57.
The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Monday fixed reference rate
of rupee for US dollar at 61.7760 compared with 61.4050 on
On Friday, rupee settled up 30 paise or 0.49% against US dollar
at Rs 61.44.
