MMTC gains on divestment plans

MMTC gained over 1% on Tuesday after
reportsthe government is planning to divest 9.33% stake in the
company.
Government has invited bids to appoint
advisors forthe companydivestment, said media sources.Shares ofthe
companyare trading at Rs 783, up Rs 10, or 1.29% at the Bombay
Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday at 9:54 a.m.The scrip has touched
an intra-day high of Rs 789.90 and low of Rs 775. The total volume
of shares traded at the BSE is 50,096.In the earlier session, the
shares lost 2.55%, or Rs 20.25, at Rs 773.00. Currently, the stock
is trading down 22.4% from its 52-week high of Rs 1,009.00 and
above 78.54% over the 52-week low of Rs 438.55.
