MTNL plunges 4% on block deal

Mahanagar Telephone Nigam (MTNL) plunged
on Friday after there was a block deal of over 4% equity shares at
Rs 37.40-45.10 per share.
Shares ofthe companyare trading at Rs
35.95, down Rs 1.75, or 4.64% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on
Friday at 9:33 a.m.The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs
37.30 and low of Rs 34.60. The total volume of shares traded at the
BSE is 1,645,457.In the earlier session, the shares declined
12.63%, or Rs 5.45, at Rs 37.70. Currently, the stock is trading
down 20.55% from its 52-week high of Rs 45.25 and above 73.67% over
the 52-week low of Rs 20.70.
