TVS Motor falls as June sales drop

TVS Motor Company fell on Monday after it reported 7.54% drop in
total sales for the month June 2012 to 168,693 units in comparison
with 182,456 units recorded in June 2011.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs
35.50, down Rs 0.95, or 2.61% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on
Monday at 11:12 a.m.The company"s cumulative sales for the period
April 2012 to June 2012 stood at 519,160 units against 536,130
units recorded in the previous comparable period.The scrip has
touched an intra-day high of Rs 36.55 and low of Rs 35.15. The
total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 200,744.In the earlier
session, the shares climbed 7.21%, or Rs 2.45, at Rs 36.45.
Currently, the stock is trading down 49.5% from its 52-week high of
Rs 70.30 and above 11.29% over the 52-week low of Rs
31.90.
