L&T up on bagging new orders worth Rs 10.02 bn

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) climbed on Friday after the power
transmission & distribution IC of L&T Construction has won
new orders valued over Rs 10.02 billion across various business
segments in June 2012.
Shares ofthe companyare trading at Rs
1,394, up Rs 52.85, or 3.94% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on
Friday at 1:34 p.m.A major order worth Rs 8.46 billion has been
bagged from West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company for
Rural Electricity Infrastructure in villages in Jalpaiguri.The
scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 1,396 and low of Rs
1,358. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 316,805.In
the earlier session, the shares fell 0.47%, or Rs 6.3, at Rs
1,341.15. Currently, the stock is trading down 25.37% from its
52-week high of Rs 1,867.85 and above 43.56% over the 52-week low
of Rs 971.
