Tata Power gains on launch of new solar energy project

<p> <IMG align=right src="http://www.myiris.com/IndexServer/storyImages/2012/06/06/20120606_893625_1.png" width=180 height=150>Tata Power Company gained on Wednesday after the company launched its new community initiative ""Project Suryaprakash"". Shares of the company are trading at Rs 90.20, up Rs 0.95, or 1.06% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday at 9:43 a.m.Under this project, Tata Power Community Development Trust (TPCDT) successfully installed HLS for resident of two villages namely Limbarvadi and Bhadaskonda of the Mulshi region in Pune, Maharashtra.The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 90.35 and low of Rs 88.60. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 27,762.In the earlier session, the shares declined 1%, or Rs 0.90, at Rs 89.25.
