UltraTech falls on disappointing February sales

Cement fell on Thursday after it reported a fall of 5.7% in cement
dispatch for February 2013 to 3.31 million tons from 3.51 million
tons for February 2012. Cement production also fell to 3.32 million
tons during the month from 3.46 million tons during January,
registering a decrease of 4.05%.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs
1,875, down Rs 21.9, or 1.15% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on
Thursday at 9:55 a.m.The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs
1,889.60 and low of Rs 1,870.50. The total volume of shares traded
at the BSE is 901.In the earlier session, the shares climbed 0.02%,
or Rs 0.45, at Rs 1,896.90. Currently, the stock is trading down
9.63% from its 52-week high of Rs 2,074.80 and above 49.41% over
the 52-week low of Rs 1,254.90.
