AstraZeneca bounces back from early loss

AstraZeneca Pharma India, an integrated
biopharmaceutical company,bounced backin post noon trade on
Wednesday from loss of about8% in the morning today.
The company's shares plunged in morningafterAstraZeneca
Pharmaceuticals AB Sweden announced Tuesday it will reduce stake in
its India unit AstraZeneca Pharma India in order to comply with the
requirement of minimum public shareholding norms.
Shares ofthe companyare trading at Rs
850, up Rs 16.25, or 1.95% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on
Wednesday at 1:36 p.m.The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs
910.20 and low of Rs 711.20. The total volume of shares traded at
the BSE is 332,652.In the earlier session, the shares lost 3.38%,
or Rs 29.15, at Rs 833.75. Currently, the stock is trading down
67.91% from its 52-week high of Rs 2,649 and above 2.83% over the
52-week low of Rs 826.60.
