Uttam Galva climbs 5% on fund raising plans

Uttam Galva Steels, a manufacturer of
cold rolled and galvanized steel products, climbed on Wednesday
after the company said it willraise fund upto Rs 1.75 billion
through placement of shares to fund expansion and augment long
term-resources.
Shares ofthe companyare trading at Rs
72.25, up Rs 3.4, or 4.94% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on
Wednesday at 11:01 a.m.The scrip has touched an intra-day high of
Rs 72.25 and low of Rs 71.50. The total volume of shares traded at
the BSE is 5,382.In the earlier session, the shares rose 4.95%, or
Rs 3.25, at Rs 68.85. Currently, the stock is trading down 42.43%
from its 52-week high of Rs 125.50 and above 27.65% over the
52-week low of Rs 56.60.
