Select mid-caps crash; Core Edu loses 2/3rd m-cap

Mid-cap stocks crashed on Monday led by Core Projects, Welspun Corp, Aanjaneya Lifecare, ABG Shipyard, Eros Int'l and six other stocks. The BSE Mid and small caps declined 1.20% and 1.36% respectively.

CORE Education and Technologies tumbled 62.42%, to settle at Rs 110.95. Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was sharply higherat 27,970,917 compared with 22-day average volume of 64,584.

Aanjaneya Lifecareplunged 20% to settle at Rs 569.30. Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was lower by 5.27% to 88,382 compared with 22-day average volume of 93,298.

ABG Shipyard declined 19.97%, to settle at Rs 288.05. Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was sharply higherat 984,248 compared with 22-day average volume of 116,274.

Welspun Corpfell 19.86%, to settle at Rs 67.20.Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was sharply higherat28,285,427 compared with 22-day average volume of 1,233,243.

Orbit Corporation fell 12.34%, to settle at Rs 33.75. Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was higher by 520.71% to 5,616,240 compared with 22-day average volume of 904,814.

Opto Circuits (India) dropped 10.26%, to settle at Rs 53.35. Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was higher by 81.63% to 8,979,970 compared with 22-day average volume of 4,944,069.

DB Realty declined Rs 9.94%, to settle at Rs 76.10. Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was higher by 19.14% to 4,524,930 compared with 22-day average volume of 3,798,020.

Eros International Media plunged 6.28%, to settle at Rs 181.20. Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was sharply higherat 5,295,063 compared with 22-day average volume of 264,063.

Cinemax India tumbled 4.99%, to settle at Rs 134.15. Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was lower by 97.31% to 2,068 compared with 22-day average volume of 76,987.

PVR fell 2.89%, to settle at Rs 258.65. Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was higher by 210% to 393,333 compared with 22-day average volume of 126,850.
