Shriram Transport loses Rs 13.3 bn in m-cap as stock plunges 7.7%

Shriram Transport Finance Company,
India's largest asset financing company,slipped 7.7% on Thursday
after large block deal.A total of 22.5 million shares exchanged
hands at an average price of Rs 716.5.
The company lost Rs 13.27 billion in market capitalisation to Rs
158.6 billion due to 7.72% drop in share prices.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs
699.25, down Rs 58.5, or 7.72% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE)
on Thursday. In the earlier session, the shares fell 0%, or Rs 0,
at Rs 757.75.Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was
higher by 10,910.80% to 29,927,058 compared with 22-day average
volume of 271,797.The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs
758.40 and low of Rs 685.25.
