Bharat Forge gains on new order worth Rs 22.51 bn

Bharat Forge gained on Wednesday after
Alstom Bharat Forge Power said it has received an order for supply
and commissioning of three 660 MW coal-fired, supercritical turbine
generator islands (TGI) worth Rs 22.51 billion from NTPC. Alstom
Bharat Forge Power is a power equipment manufacturing joint-venture
between Bharat Forge and Alstom Power Holdings.
Shares ofthe companyare trading at Rs
220.35, up Rs 3.1, or 1.43% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on
Wednesday at 9:37 a.m.The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs
221.90 and low of Rs 218.80. The total volume of shares traded at
the BSE is 9,063.In the earlier session, the shares lost 2.97%, or
Rs 6.65, at Rs 217.25. Currently, the stock is trading down 36.5%
from its 52-week high of Rs 347 and above 5.86% over the 52-week
low of Rs 208.15.
