Hexaware gains nearly 3% on better guidance

Hexaware Technologies, IT and BPO service
company,surged on Mondaydespite weak fourth quarter earningsas the
company issuedbetter revenue guidance for current quarter.
Itannounced a decrease of 25.01% in net profit on y-o-y basis to Rs 661.8 million for the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2012. Revenues of the company rose 16.3% during the quarter to Rs 5.02 billion. EBITDA margin was at 16.9%, in-line with the revised outlook for the quarterly operating margin issued for Q4 2012, the company said.
Commenting on the guidance, the company said, "Revenue for Q1 2013 is likely to be in the region of USD 94 million - USD 95 million; a Q-o-Q sequential revenue growth of 1.7% - 2.8%."
Shares ofthe companyare trading at Rs
83.85, up Rs 2.35, or 2.88% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on
Monday at 12:19 p.m.The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs
88.60 and low of Rs 81. The total volume of shares traded at the
BSE is 1,566,886.In the earlier session, the shares gained 1.05%,
or Rs 0.84, at Rs 81.50. Currently, the stock is trading down
40.95% from its 52-week high of Rs 142 and above 15.5% over the
52-week low of Rs 72.60.
