Astrazeneca falls after reporting loss in Q3

Astrazeneca Pharma India, an integrated
biopharmaceutical company, fell on Thursday after it has posted a
net loss of Rs 176.95 million for the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2012
as compared to net profit of Rs 149.37 million for the same period
in the previous year.
Net sales has decreased 31.65% to Rs 1.05 billion for the
quarter ended Dec 31, 2012 from Rs 1.54 billion for the same period
in the previous year.
Shares ofthe companyIndia are trading
at Rs 1,302, down Rs 21.65, or 1.64% at the Bombay Stock Exchange
(BSE) on Thursday at 9:52 a.m.The scrip has touched an intra-day
high of Rs 1,320 and low of Rs 1,291. The total volume of shares
traded at the BSE is 1,345.In the earlier session, the shares
declined 0.2%, or Rs 2.64, at Rs 1,323.65. Currently, the stock is
trading at all time 52-week low, which is below 50.85% over the
52-week high of Rs 2,649.00.
