Kingfisher falls 3% as Q3 loss widens to Rs 7.55 bn

(KFA) plunged on Tuesday after reporting net loss of Rs 7.55
billion as compared to loss of Rs 4.44 billion in the same period
last year.
It has spent Rs 4.01 billion on finance costs during the quarter and Rs 1.82 billion on aircraft leasing charges, although none of the planes was used during the period.
There was no revenue during the quarter as the operations of ailing airline were suspended by the DGCA.
The company submitted a revival/restart plan to the DGCA for
renewal of its scheduled operator's permit and for restart of
operations.
Shares ofthe companyare trading at Rs
12.13, down Rs 0.41, or 3.27% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on
Tuesday at 10:51 a.m.The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs
13.45 and low of Rs 11.70. The total volume of shares traded at the
BSE is 1,190,896.In the earlier session, the shares declined 2.26%,
or Rs 0.29, at Rs 12.54. Currently, the stock is trading down
60.74% from its 52-week high of Rs 30.90 and above 73.04% over the
52-week low of Rs 7.01.
