Suzlon Energy extends gain for the second
dayon Fridayon the back ofstrong order inflows.The world's fifth
largest wind turbine supplierannounced today the company
securedorder for 138 MW wind farm in South Africa.This follows 350
MW wind farm order win announced onThursday.
With today's gain of 4.5%, shares of the companywent up by21%since Wednesday's closing. While the market capitalisation increased byRs 7.9 billion to Rs 45.6 billion.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs
25.60, up Rs 1.1, or 4.49% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on
Friday at 11:46 a.m. In the earlier session, the shares gained
15.57%, or Rs 3.3, at Rs 24.50.
Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was higher by 44.81% to 79,021,681 compared with 22-day average volume of 54,570,935.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 26.55 and low of Rs 25.20.
