ONGC gains on hopes of hike in gas prices

Oil & Natural Gas Corporation jumped on Thursday as the oil ministry is expected to soon recommend a revision in local gas prices. The oil ministry will soon send the recommendations to the cabinet for consideration, a media report said.
Shares of Oil & Natural Gas Corporation are trading at Rs 341.50, up Rs 8.55, or 2.57% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Thursday at 09:29 a.m.The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 353.55 and low of Rs 341.15. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 278,608.In the earlier session, the shares fell 1.14%, or Rs 3.85, at Rs 332.95.Currently, the stock is trading down 3.56% from its 52-week high of Rs 354.10 and above 42.23% over the 52-week low of Rs 240.10.
