Ruchi Soya climbs on good Q2 numbers

Ruchi Soya Industries climbed on Tuesday
after it reported a surge of 17.38 times in net profit to Rs 656.57
million for the quarter ended Sept.30, 2012 as compared to Rs 37.78
million in the same period last year.
During the quarter, the company saw a decrease of 10.85% in
total revenue to Rs 54.27 billion from Rs 60.88 billion in the same
quarter last year.
Shares ofthe companyare trading at Rs
69.40, up Rs 1.8, or 2.66% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on
Tuesday at 9:37 a.m.The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs
70 and low of Rs 68.20. The total volume of shares traded at the
BSE is 9,708.In the earlier session, the shares fell 1.53%, or Rs
1.05, at Rs 67.60. Currently, the stock is trading down 38.31% from
its 52-week high of Rs 112.50 and above 3.89% over the 52-week low
of Rs 66.80.
