DHFL gains post Q2 results

Housing Finance Corporation (DHFL), the private sector housing
finance company, gained on Tuesday after it posted Q2 results.
The company reported a growth of 19.42% in net profit to Rs 858.5 million as compared to Rs 718.9 million for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2012.
During the quarter, the company saw a
rise of 39% in total income to Rs 8.17 billion from Rs 5.88 billion
in the same quarter last year.
Shares of the companyare trading at Rs 200, up Rs 2.15, or 1.09% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Tuesday at 9:25 a.m.The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 204.75 and low of Rs 198.75. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 12,068.In the earlier session, the shares rose 1.18%, or Rs 2.3, at Rs 197.85. Currently, the stock is trading down 28.32% from its 52-week high of Rs 279.00 and above 40.6% over the 52-week low of Rs 142.25.
