Magma Fincorp up 3.7% on good Q2 earnings

Magma Fincorp surged on Friday after it
reported good Q2 earnings.
The company reported a rise of 29.34% in net profit to Rs 266.2 million for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2012 as compared to Rs 205.81 million in the same period last year.
Total income has increased by 56.55% to Rs 3.82 billion for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2012 from Rs 2.44 billion in the year ago period.
Shares ofthe companyare trading at Rs 66.50, up Rs 2.4, or 3.74% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on Friday at 11:24 a.m.The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs 69.30 and low of Rs 65. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE is 30,013.In the earlier session, the shares declined 0.39%, or Rs 0.25, at Rs 64.10. Currently, the stock is trading down 12.96% from its 52-week high of Rs 76.40 and above 38.25% over the 52-week low of Rs 48.10.
