Adani Power falls as promoter plans to pare holding

Adani Power declined on Fridayas the
company"spromoter plans to sell part oftheir holding.Adani Agro
announced an Offer for Sale of an aggregate of 35.58 million equity
shares of face value of Rs. 10 each of Adani Power on Oct. 8, 2012
by promoter through a sale on the separate window provided by the
BSE for this purpose.
Shares ofthe companyare trading at Rs
53.25, down Rs 1.95, or 3.53% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on
Friday at 12:03 p.m.The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs
56 and low of Rs 52.70. The total volume of shares traded at the
BSE is 665,326.In the earlier session, the shares rose 4.84%, or Rs
2.55, at Rs 55.20. Currently, the stock is trading down 44.93% from
its 52-week high of Rs 96.70 and above 44.7% over the 52-week low
of Rs 36.80.
