Tata Power rallies 5% on HSBC upgrade

Tata Power Company,one of the
leadingprivate sectorpowergenerator,surged on Thursday after global
firm HSBC has upgradedstock rating onthe company to "Overweight".
It has also increased the target price to Rs 125.
Shares of the company are trading at Rs
107.90, up Rs 5.25, or 5.11% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on
Thursday at 12:26 p.m.The scrip has touched an intra-day high of Rs
110.55 and low of Rs 101.10. The total volume of shares traded at
the BSE is 1,392,787.In the earlier session, the shares fell 0.29%,
or Rs 0.3, at Rs 102.65. Currently, the stock is trading down
11.19% from its 52-week high of Rs 121.50 and above 33.79% over the
52-week low of Rs 80.65.
