United Spirits jumps 9% on stake sale talks

United Spirits jumped on Monday after
media reports quoted that Diageo Plc is in advanced talks to buy a
stake in the company.Shares ofthe companyare trading at Rs
1,082.50, up Rs 88.45, or 8.90% at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE)
on Monday at 11:41 a.m.
The scrip has touched an intra-day high
of Rs 1,090.80 and low of Rs 1,005. The total volume of shares
traded at the BSE is 760,964.In the earlier session, the shares
rose 5.26%, or Rs 49.7, at Rs 994.05. Currently, the stock is
trading all time 52-week high, which is above 140.56% over the
52-week low of Rs 450.
